LACTIC ACID (lactic acid) is an alpha hydroxy acid that activates mild exfoliation processes. Promotes skin lightening in cases of persistent pigmentation. Improves the moisture balance in the skin, promotes the process of natural removal of dead cells in the upper layer of the skin, which gives it a smoother and brighter appearance.
KOJIC ACID (kojic acid) is a rice fermentation product that is effective in breaking down melanin and lightening age spots by inhibiting the tyrosinase enzyme. Prevents oxidation and thus enhances the lightening effect.
ALPHA ARBUTIN is an active ingredient that brightens and evens out skin tone. It is made from dried leaves of various plants such as currants, blueberries and cranberries. Alpha-arbutin, which has a structural chemical formula similar to hydroquinone, is involved in a mechanism that inhibits the activity of the tyrosinase enzyme in melanin production. Studies show that over time, arbutin brightens the skin better than other brightening agents.
